When New Life needed a children’s minister, they did not need to look beyond their own faith family to discover a very capable, loving, hardworking leader. Mrs. Mac, as she is called, has developed an outstanding children’s program. She is able and ready to be of help to children entrusted to New Life, and to enlist others to assist her.

Jo Ellen McDaniel was a public school teacher in Calcasieu Parish when God called her into children’s ministry. She served as Children Ministries Director in Louisiana and Mississippi at two large churches that averaged 1,000 in attendance. She presently serves as ministry leader for New Life’s LIFE Groups, a small group ministry that meets in homes across the area, and as Women’s Ministries Leader. Her experience with small groups is an asset to the ministry at New Life.
